This two-hour immersion will include an introduction to meditation where you will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of beginning breathing techniques that will transition into a short relaxed yoga flow focused on deep stretching and connection of breath to movement. Next, you will be guided through a journey of the mind in relation to your emotions and an examination of color. Using acrylic paints and a paint-pour technique, you will then draw from this experience as inspiration to create a unique piece of artwork to take home for your enjoyment and continued reflection.
Art portion of workshop:
1. No prior art experience necessary
2. Instructions/demonstration of project will be provided
3. Aprons will be available but it is recommended to wear comfy clothes that you are okay getting paint on
4. Your final art piece will need AT LEAST 48hrs to fully dry after workshop, therefore will be available for pick-up within 1-2days at the studio during operating hours:
WED - SAT 11AM - 5:30PM
Yoga Portion of workshop:
1. No experience necessary
2. Yoga mat is optional but recommended for comfort
