This class series is for those who have previous wheel throwing experience. Students will continue to hone in on foundational techniques learned previously including skills for taller/ wider vessels, creating shapes and working with larger amounts of clay. 

Specific focus on learning to throw plates and the techniques of throwing jars/lids. Trimming and glazing methods will be covered further. Students are encouraged to utilize this class series by bringing forth any specific project or form you’d love to achieve as your main goal/to work on during our time together (hence “independent study”) - Instructor Megan Tyler will help assist in guiding you towards the vision you desire to create while teaching you the specifics needed to get there! 

Happening Saturdays starting March 25th until April 29th from 8AM - 10AM

Includes 25# of clay ($28 value), glazing, firing, and students will have access to open studio time during designated hours for the duration of the class series. Instruction will cover studio layout, vocabulary, equipment use, and safety as well.
